Dogrobes goes bigger and better: The Image Take 2

Dogrobes goes bigger and better: The Image Take 2

Dec 18, 2018

We did it….and what a day it was!

If you haven't yet read our previous blog Our BIG photoshoot at the beach, we had a vision for our all-new web page for Dogrobes, to capture as many dogs on the beach in a group shot wearing their Dogrobes towelling drying coats and Snoods. It was a hilariously chaotic day, made all the more delightful thanks to the gorgeous dogs kindly brought to the beach by friends and Dogrobes customers. We managed to create the shot we wanted, with a little post-production compilation help and the result is just as high-impact as we wished for.

Double trouble!

So when the crazy Dogrobes lady had an idea to DOUBLE the number of dogs in a retake of the image of fifty-five gorgeous doggos all proudly wearing their Dogrobes, the general consensus was ‘in your dreams’!

Well…..it just goes to show that dreams can come true, because they did! What an organised team we had on the day and the dogs were absolute STARS!

Pictured here are two handsome Springer Spaniels and they were joined by Toy Poodles, Standard Poodles, Cockapoos, Labradors and Retrievers, Border Collies, French bulldogs and many, many more. As you can see from the resulting shot, we chose the full colour palette of our range of towelling dog drying robes and took the shot against the background of the stunning estate of Gordon Castle, a hidden gem situated between the River Spey and the Moray Coast - a short drive from Roseisle where our first big Dogrobes photo shoot took place. The castle boasts one of the oldest and largest walled kitchen gardens in Britain. It was the perfect choice for the shoot!

A colourful coat for all sizes and seasons

While the day was equally enjoyable, seeing so many beautiful dogs looking so handsome in their Dogrobes and Snoods, there was a message which we wanted to convey to our dog-owning customers and readers. No matter how big, how small, how active or how sedate your dog is, there is a size and style of Dogrobes drying coat to suit them. Whether a slow wander around the garden or a boisterous long forest walk, a trot through town or a busy day retrieving for work, your dog can be wrapped up warm and comfy in a heartbeat, thereby protecting you, your home and your car from muddy spatters and dirty water drops.

Easy to fit and generous in size along the back, your dog will barely notice the drying coat being fitted with the smart belt. And it's no different for our harness-wearing pups either - each design comes with an option for a harness access opening, which allows the D-ring to be accessed for clipping the lead. So muddy harnesses are safely tucked under the warm towelling too.

With so many photo shoot model dogs to dress, it was essential that getting them ready should be quick and hassle-free. And very lovable they looked too!

We hope you enjoyed the results of our photo shoot and look forward to bringing you Take 3. Watch this space!
