How Dogrobes Work

Dries + Warms + Comforts

Dries - Dogs can remove up to 70% of water when they shake. The remaining 30% means wet fur, which is a poor insulator and can cause your dog’s body temperature to drop. Dogrobes’ innovative fabric has longer loops on the inside that quickly draw moisture away from your dog’s coat and dry him.

Warms - Long loops trap air and body heat to maintain his body temperature, speed up drying time and keep him warm.

Comforts - Our vet says gentle pressure around a dog's chest acts like soothing swaddling, reducing anxiety. Tie the Dogrobe closely around the dog's torso to create a constant, gentle pressure, for a calming effect. The Dogrobe can stay like this on the dog for up to 2-3 hours.

How To Get The Perfect Fit

Whatever the size or breed of dog, we have a Dogrobe to fit.

It's important to measure your dog to get the right size. Our sizes run fairly large, e.g. XS fits a Cocker Spaniel.

Easy to fit every time

Slip the Dogrobe over your dog’s head
Straighten it out over his back
Draw the ties up on each side of his body
Tie loosely in a single loop on one side of his spine

Different dogs will have different drying times but generally leave the Dogrobe on for around 30 minutes and take it off when it's damp.

Beware - some dogs like to chew so don't leave your dog unattended while wearing his Dogrobe.

How to customise your Dogrobe

Plain or patterned – the choice is yours!

Dogrobes come in three great collections. Original Dogrobes are our best sellers and come in a variety of plain colours: red, navy, green, purple, teal and orange.

For something different, our Exclusive Dogrobes Collection offers a unique designer-look for your dog. Choose from Tartan or Rainbow patterns. Each printed design features a subtle nod to your canine companion.

In September 2023 we launched our most advanced Dogrobe yet: The Dogrobe MAX.

Both collections have our unique moisture-wicking fabric to dry, comfort and warm your pet. The Exclusive Collection has a second layer of peached fabric on the outside featuring our unique designs. Both are quick-drying for re-use.

Embroidered name for dogs of distinction

Your dog's name can be embroidered on both sides of your Dogrobe for the personal touch.

Names are sewn in capitals with white thread on Original Dogrobes and silver/grey thread on Exclusive Dogrobes.

Simply choose the 'add embroidered name' option and state the name you'd like featured on your Dogrobe (15 characters max).

Personalisation takes a little extra time – please allow an additional two days for embroidery.

Harness access opening for safe travels

If your dog wears a harness, you can choose a Dogrobe with a handy slit sewn into the top of the Dogrobe.

This opening means you can access the harness 'D' ring easily and quickly to secure your dog in the car.
