How to Use Your Gauntlets

• Use Gauntlets to dry wet, muddy paws and legs — or for a quick rub-down after a rainy walk

• Each Gauntlet has two drying sides, so swap hands to use both sides

Most dogs will be dry within 30minutes (or less!)

Different dogs will have different drying times but generally leave a Dogrobe or Snood on for around 30 minutes and then take them off.

Remove the Dogrobe or Snood when your dog feels dry.

Two Ways to Wear A Snood

Spaniel wearing red Dogrobes Snood around the neck to dry thick neck fur and keep warm

A Snood can be worn in two ways - each with a different purpose:

 1. Pulled up as a hood:

Perfect for drying your dog’s head, neck and ears after a bath or wet walk, or for helping calm anxious dogs during fireworks or windy weather.

Most dogs drop down a size from their Dogrobe size when wearing the Snood like this — check our Size Guide to be sure.

2. Worn as a neck buff:

Ideal for drying the thick neck fur on long-haired breeds like Collies, Retrievers and German Shepherds — and keeping them cosy once they’re dry.

Safety First!

Please supervise your dog while wearing their Dogrobe or Snood - some dogs like to chew!

Keep away from fire.

How to Care for your Dogrobe, Snood and Gauntlets

At Dogrobes, we’re all about making life easy — our products are easy to use, easy to fit and easy to care for.

Our unique towelling fabric is made to last — just follow these simple steps to keep it looking its best wash after wash.

Wash smart!

Wash different colours separately before first use, then wash with similar colours.

Most people find that washing their Dogrobes products once a week keeps them fresh — but it depends how muddy your dog gets!

Between washes, dry your Dogrobes, Snoods and Gauntlets thoroughly before re-use.

Each product has a handy hanging loop so you can hang it up to dry naturally.

If your Dogrobe is personalised, you may notice small pieces of AquaFilm (the clear stabiliser used during embroidery) on the surface of the letters or over the loops. These will dissolve completely during the first wash.

Skip the dryer!

Dogrobes’ unique dual-loop fabric dries fast naturally, keeping it soft, absorbent and ready for your next adventure.

Avoid using fabric softener, dryer sheets or fragranced dryer balls, as these can reduce absorbency over time.
If you prefer to use natural wool dryer balls, of course they’re perfectly safe.

Years of wear with a little care!
