How does the ‘magic’ happen? Unlike any other dog drying coat on the market, Dogrobes are crafted from an exclusive fabric composition that ensures faster drying times and greater comfort for your dog. It is not woven in the same way as standard towelling and it’s not the same as the standard towels we humans would use. It is a super-absorbent cotton towelling with dual-loops.

Dual-loop design: The Dogrobes fabric features two distinct layers of loops:

• • Long inner loops: These super-absorbent loops are positioned on the inside of the Dogrobe to capture moisture directly from your dog's fur. They act like tiny sponges. The second function of these long loops is to trap your dog’s body heat helping to dry them more quickly.
  • Short outer loops: The shorter loops on the outside of the Dogrobe allow the captured moisture to evaporate quickly because of the open structure of the fabric.

Why is it so important to have different sizes of loops in the fabric?

• Superior absorption: By pushing all the naturally absorbent cotton loops to the inside of the fabric to create long loops, we create a greater surface area next to the dog’s wet fur, where maximum absorption is needed most. A greater surface area of cotton means more moisture can be drawn away from the dog’s body and absorbed. And this means faster drying times!
• To use your dog’s natural body heat: Our unique long loops trap more of your dog’s natural body heat than standard towelling to speed up the drying time. This means your dog's fur is thoroughly dried, leaving no lingering wetness and you can take the Dogrobe off after around half an hour.

• Easy care: Ties rather than Velcro make for easy laundering. If Velcro closures become unstuck during laundering, they can fix onto and cause snags in standard towelling.

How to fit a Dogrobe for the best results

At Dogrobes we’re all about ‘easy’. All our products are easy to use and easy to care for. The Dogrobes slip on and tie for the perfect fit and ties, rather than Velcro mean laundering is a breeze.

Just remember when fitting any Dogrobe to always have the Dogrobes’ branded label visible. That way, you’ll know that the long loops are inside to absorb all the moisture from your dog’s wet fur and the short loops are uppermost, allowing the dampness to evaporate.

Most dogs will be dry within 30 minutes. Remove the Dogrobe when your dog feels dry.

Like the Dogrobe, they are made from a single layer of fabric and the loops are positioned on the inside of the Snood, right next to the dog’s fur. As with the Dogrobe, your dog wears the Snood for around 30 minutes. It can be worn either on the head, like a hood, or around their neck, like a buff.

2. Dogrobes Gauntlets are dog drying mitts for us humans to wear and they’re double-layered, so hands stay warm and dry. The Gauntlets were specially designed to target your dog’s legs and paws but they’re equally useful for a quick rub-down when you don’t need the complete coverage of the Dogrobe. Unlike the Dogrobe or Snood, we position the long loops on the outside of the Gauntlets as that’s the area which needs the most absorption.
