It’s all in the detail — and that takes a little extra time!
Our exclusive cotton towelling has a dual loop structure that needs careful handling during embroidery.
To achieve that crisp, professional finish, we use:
- A water-soluble film on top of the fabric to hold the loops down while stitching your dog’s name
- A soft stabiliser backing underneath to support every stitch
Once the embroidery is complete, both materials are removed as much as is safe to do.
If you notice a little of the clear film still caught inside a letter, don’t worry — it will dissolve completely in the first wash. The stabiliser backing is torn away carefully, leaving just enough to give the embroidery lasting strength and structure.
The result? Perfectly neat lettering that keeps its shape wash after wash — because every detail matters.

How to Add Personalisation to Your Dogrobe
Adding your dog’s name is easy:
- Select your Dogrobe size
- Under Add embroidered name choose YES
- A box will appear — type your dog’s name in CAPITALS (up to 15 characters)
- Click Add to Cart — your cart updates to include the cost of personalisation
Your personalised Dogrobe will be made to order with your dog’s name expertly embroidered on both sides.

Please allow a little extra time for dispatch, as every personalised Dogrobe is embroidered to order. So it may take up to 2 working days during busy times - but we promise it’s worth the wait!
Because personalised items are made especially for your dog, they are non-returnable unless faulty. Please double-check the spelling before adding to basket.

Because your Dogrobe is embroidered to order, we’ll need that extra time in our workshop. After this date, we’ll still do our best — but we can’t guarantee pre-Christmas delivery.
