HOW TO USE
Use after wet walks, swimming or bath times to dry, warm and comfort your dog
- before your dog goes into the house/car
- after a bath
- Slip the Dogrobe MAX over your dog's head
- Straighten it out to cover their back
- Pass chest plate through their front legs to cover belly
- Draw the tie up on each side of their body
- Tie loosely in a singe loop to the side of the spine
- Remove the Dogrobe when your dog feels dry - most dogs will be dry within 30 minutes
- Hang up to dry using the handy loop, ready for next time

How Dogrobes' dual-loop fabric works
Unlike standard towelling, which has loops of the same length on both sides, Dogrobes® dual-loop fabric is specially designed for drying dogs.
The longest loops are positioned on the inside, next to your dog's wet coat. These long loops create a greater absorbent surface area than standard towelling, allowing them to absorb more moisture where it's needed most - directly against the fur.
The long inner loops don't just absorb moisture. They also help trap your dog's natural body heat.
This creates a warm, comfortable drying environment around the coat, helping dogs stay cosy after wet walks, swimming or bath times while encouraging faster drying.
Once moisture has been absorbed by the long inner loops, the short outer loops allow it to evaporate quickly across an open surface area.
This unique combination helps speed up drying and keeps the fabric lightweight and quick-drying after use or washing.

How does a Dogrobes drying coat work?
A Dogrobe dog drying robe works by absorbing moisture directly from your dog’s coat using our unique dual-loop cotton towelling. The longer loops on the inside draw water away from the fur, while your dog’s natural body heat helps speed up the drying process.
Because your dog wears the robe, drying continues hands-free rather than stopping after a few minutes of towel drying. The unique design gives generous coverage, including over the back end, and the adjustable ties ensure close contact with the fabric so it can absorb effectively.

What’s the difference between the Original, Exclusive and MAX Dogrobes?
All three Dogrobes use our unique dual-loop cotton towelling to dry your dog quickly and easily. The Original has our classic slim fit, and offset ties cover the underbelly - ideal for shorter-haired dogs. The Exclusive has the same classic fit with a patterned outer layer for added warmth. The MAX provides greater chest and underbelly coverage and is particularly suited to broader, deeper-chested and longer-haired dogs.

How long does it take for a Dogrobe drying coat to dry a dog?
Drying time varies depending on your dog’s coat type and how wet they are to begin with. The majority of dogs are dry in around 30 minutes when wearing a Dogrobe. Short-coated dogs often dry more quickly, while dogs with dense or double coats can take longer.
It’s always best to let your dog have a good shake first, as dogs naturally remove around 70% of the water themselves. The Dogrobe then absorbs the remaining moisture and continues drying while your dog relaxes.
How do I choose the right Dogrobe size?
The most accurate way to choose the right size is to measure your dog and follow the Dogrobe Size Guide.
The girth measurement - around the deepest part of your dog’s chest, is the key measurement, with the back length used as a double-check.
If measuring isn’t possible, the size guide includes breed size examples for both Dogrobes and Snoods to help you choose.
If your dog is between sizes, sizing up is recommended.
My dog hates coats - will they tolerate a Dogrobe?
Many dogs that dislike traditional coats are happy to wear a Dogrobe. Unlike outdoor coats, Dogrobes are lightweight, soft and highly absorbent, with no noisy fastenings or restrictive leg openings.
Because they're designed for drying rather than insulation, they drape naturally over the body and allow dogs to move freely. Many owners are surprised at how quickly their dogs accept a Dogrobe, especially once they associate it with getting warm, dry and settled after a walk or swim. Why don't Dogrobes use Velcro fastenings?
We don’t use Velcro fastenings on our dog drying coats for several practical reasons. Velcro quickly becomes clogged with dog hair, which reduces its grip and makes the fastening less secure over time.
During washing, Velcro can also snag towelling fabric and cause unnecessary wear. Some dogs are unsettled by the noise of Velcro and it can catch or pull at fur and ears.
Instead, we use adjustable ties because they allow a snug fit to your dog’s exact girth, ensuring close contact with the fabric so the drying coat stays in place and dries effectively every time.
Do I have to put my dog's legs through the Dogrobe MAX?
No. There are no leg holes to force your dog's legs through. The chest panel simply passes between the front legs before the Dogrobe is secured with the adjustable ties.
How long do Dogrobes usually last?
Dogrobes are designed to provide years of regular use. Many of our customers are still using Dogrobes purchased many years ago. Some have even passed them on to younger dogs.
Durability is built into the design. We deliberately use ties rather than Velcro, as Velcro can clog with hair and lose its grip over time.
