From small beginnings
Dogrobes were created in Scotland in 2004 by my friend and working dog trainer Ann Playle.
Ann was using old towels to dry her working Labradors. But a quick towel-dry never did the job well enough. So Ann designed a practical dog drying coat her dogs could wear:
- to dry them properly
- to keep muscles warm after exercise
- to protect surroundings from shake-off
Growing with our customers
In 2013, when Ann retired, I took over and began sewing Dogrobes and staying true to Ann's principle: put dogs first - always.
We listened closely to what our customers needed and completed our head-to-paw dog drying kit:
- dog Snoods to dry head, neck and ears
- Gauntlets drying mitts for legs and paws
Today, Dogrobes remains a family-owned business, delivering our British-made dog drying products to homes and businesses worldwide.
